It’s not often one finds an outstanding wine that fits into the budget. Seven Stones continues to get feedback from happy wine drinkers who just love the value they get from the winery’s vast selection of current vintage and library wines.
Stimulate Your Senses in Cool Caves
This fall, come visit Seven Stones Winery, nestled on benchland overlooking the Similkameen Valley. This winery is well-known for its full-bodied red wines, a spectacular view and mysterious caves. While in the caves, enjoy classical music in 3,500 square feet of cool comfort. It’s an excellent place for events and an even better place to let the wine age in French oak barrels. The aging wine loves the consistently humid 10.5 degrees.
Owner George Hanson created the caves to make distinctive, exceptional wines that aged well. Instead of wine lovers cellaring the wines themselves, George keeps them in the caves until they’ve matured.
Two of Seven Stones best current vintage sellers just took home medals in the WineAlign National Wine Competition: The Legend, a 2014 blend won Gold, and the 2014 Speaking Rock Cabernet Franc received Silver.
Library Wines at Current Vintage Prices
One would think that purchasing library wines would be cost prohibitive. That’s not the case at Seven Stones. George believes that stocking your personal wine cellar with quality wines shouldn’t break the bank. He’s been known to consistently release older vintages at what many competitors would consider current vintage prices, and you’ll find a sizeable collection of superior library wines here.
Come to Seven Stones and enjoy the magic of the fall with a glass of wine as you take in the breathtaking view from the observation deck overlooking the Similkameen Valley. Take an unforgettable tour of the winery and caves and see how the extraordinary wine of Seven Stones is made. One taste and you’ll know why it’s won so many awards.
