Quails’ Gate Winery boasts one of the most sublime views over vineyards and Okanagan Lake, and their summer calendar is filled with exciting tastings, tours and events. It’s a winery you won’t want to miss.
Dinner in the Vineyard returns Wednesdays, June 28 through September 6. Starting at 6:00 in the evening, guests share a four-course meal – family-style – seated at a long dinner table in the vineyard. This event is not only about a magical night of delicious food paired with Quails’ Gate’s award winning wine, it’s also about coming together as a community. Seating is limited to 30 diners so book early. $175 per person covers a canapé reception, dinner and accompanying wines.
For a more casual food and wine pairing experience, try a Scenic Seated Tasting offered from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the private dining room adjacent to the wine shop. Choose from five themed flights of wine and food and relax as a senior wine educator acts as your guide. For those looking for a slightly more intimate tasting experience or for a light snack to bolster their momentum, this is the perfect option. No reservations required.
Chocolate and wine – two of life’s great pleasures. The Chocolate and Wine Tasting tours begin June 24. Limited to 15 guests, the 45-minute tour starts with a tasting of wine as you wander through the vineyards led by one of the winery’s senior educators. Guests then move into the wine library for a guided wine pairing experience with a variety of chocolates provided by the in-house restaurant and KARAT Chocolate (owned by Quails’ Gate’s former pastry chef.) Offered until September 4, tours run three times a day at 11:00, 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. at a cost of $25 plus tax per guest.
