The new owner of Therapy Vineyards, Mike Boyd, isn’t wasting any time when it comes to upgrading the entire facility to enhance every guest’s experience. The already beautiful Guest House, which features serene, panoramic views of the Okanagan Lake and the vineyard, will be getting a complete upgrade of all the rooms with the most exciting feature being the addition of an outdoor pool and pool deck to sit and relax at while enjoying a glass of any of their amazing wines!
This space is perfect for a couples romantic getaway, a girls or guys weekend road trip, a retreat with business colleagues, or simply an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. You will feel pampered from the moment you step foot on the property to the time you have to head home. Your stay will include all the luxuries of home and more including, a gourmet selection of pastries and fruit, served on your patio each morning and a complimentary tasting in their tasting room. Therapy Vineyards and The Guest House sit at the very end of the Naramata Bench.
The current tasting room, which is currently a long, rectangular, one-story building, is being renovated as well to include another story. They will be updating the tasting room as well as adding a private, multi-purpose space with a permanent tasting bar, a full kitchen facility with a beautiful dining room and large open-air patio. The space can be utilized for private functions, weddings and events. With stunning views and fantastic wines, this place is hard to beat!
The winery is increasing its capacity for wine production, which is exciting news for all of us Therapy wine drinkers! Their capacity in 2016 was around 12,000 cases, with this year increasing to around 17,000 cases and next year projecting 20,000+ cases. This means more wine for their guests and customers to enjoy including their new focus on single vineyard wines.
Pop in for a taste of Therapy’s highly sought after Single Vineyard 2016 Riesling at their tasting room, or pick up a bottle at your local wine shop! You most certainly will not be disappointed. This wine has a light, dry and silky mouthfeel with bright notes of green apple, lime, honey and tropical fruit. It has a beautiful, sweet and tart balance and is a perfect aperitif to any meal. This wine would also pair perfectly with Roasted Chicken or a Coq Au Vin Blanc. Therapy wines are much more than their cleverly named wines and cheeky, but gorgeous labels. The winemaker and owner of the vineyard take their wines very seriously and the complexity and passion from this is reflected in every glass!
