As warmer weather evokes sunbathed patios and beaches, seafood’s lighter side takes centre stage. While West Coast Grill + Oyster Bar exalts fresh seafood every season, nothing says summer like its unique flavours and textures – delicious whether raw, shucked, poached, boiled or steamed. Grab a seat at the bar for culinary theatre where the performance is oysters being shucked or the assembly of impressive seafood towers piled high with smoked salmon, chilled crab claws, tuna tartar, prawns, oysters, and sashimi. Fresh oysters are always available and only $1 each during Happy Hour, 3 to 6 pm daily.
This summer, West Coast tabletop steamer kettles are going into overtime as the chef and his kitchen team ply you with all-you-can-eat BC mussels and clams for $25, offering three sumptuous broths – white wine cream garlic, Thai curry and smoked paprika chorizo. Plump and textured Qualicum Bay scallops and whole Dungeness crab are also featured.
Okanagan’s premier seafood house, West Coast Grill + Oyster Bar is an attractive contemporary design with a long, marble-topped bar. Its seaside colour scheme and oversized windows set the tone for a fish-forward menu. In addition to seafood, there’s salads, flatbreads, hamburgers and steaks. Open breakfast, lunch, Happy Hour, and dinner, the coastal inspired menu is paired with an extensive list of Okanagan wines, cocktails and beers.
