Dirty Laundry Vineyard currently swings open the wine shop doors, seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm, and the first bottling of 2017 is in the books.
The winemakers have been busy getting several new vintages ready for tasting, including the highly popular Virgin Viognier, which sold out in record time last year. Virgin Viognier is described as pure, smooth and delightfully racy. Says Lauren Selfridge, Bordello Club manager “She explodes with aromatics the moment her cap is released. It’s a perfect wine for food pairing or sipping on its own.”
Test it yourself on the newly expanded patio, soaking in stunning views of vineyards, orchards and Okanagan Lake beyond and part of the Kettle Valley Railroad. A great place to linger with out-of-town guests, there’s now more space for tasting and bar-style seating in a covered and heated area destined to be fun rain or shine. “Laundry Suds” craft beer is back on tap for 2017 and is available by the glass or flights in the covered outside tasting bar. The lineup includes Dirty Blond Kolsch, Brunette IPA, Full House Pale Ale, and Red Head Wheat Ale brewed especially for Dirty Laundry by Bridge Brewing in North Vancouver. Sneaking a peek to festivities at Dirty Laundry in honour of Canada’s 150th Anniversary, stay tuned for the release of its first ever sparkling wines.
