When Chef Grant de Montreuil puts his team together, he covers all his bases. This year, three superstars are gathering the most attention at the Bonfire Restaurant on Kelowna’s west side.
Three little piggies, one bearing de Montreuil’s name, were brought on site early this summer as part of the restaurant’s clean-up team. They’ve created a minor sensation with kids and adults alike.
After a great summer, the Bonfire Restaurant has turned its sights toward a celebration of fall, including a tasting menu featuring foods from their extraordinary onsite culinary garden and Okanagan wines. And during the upcoming fall Okanagan Wine Festival, they’ll serve up a sumptuous five-course tasting menu for about $50.
The popular – and delicious – Tuesday night pasta bar is here to stay. For just $10, you’ll receive your choice of pasta and sauce, seasonings and garlic bread. An additional $2 to $4 per item will get you a selection of vegetables, or a meat or seafood portion.
Enjoy a fresh new wine list and selection of craft beers at The Bonfire, as well as a bounty of fall foods from their culinary garden. Tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, peppers and in-season veggies are incorporated into their menu items. It’s a delicious way to welcome the change of season!
