Meandering along the Naramata Bench for oenological delights has become a sacred pilgrimage to wine lovers visiting BC’s Okanagan Valley. So, why must any oenophile worth his or her salt, dedicate time to visit Therapy Vineyards and Guesthouse? The beautiful location, welcoming staff, and delicious wines are all prerequisites in this region: Therapy simply offers more.
GM Judi Skinner says their brand new paved parking expansion makes it “definitely one of the biggest on the Bench.” They’ll need that extra space to accommodate the increase in visitors, now that Lil’s Kitchen is up-and-running. This fabulous patio kitchen is parked on-site all season, offering gourmet wood-fired pizza and grilled cheese on home-baked bread. Take-out or stay-in, Therapy’s new European-style outdoor seating for 45 gives guests the option of relaxing with wine paired gastronomical deliciousness, or grab-and-go to other adventures. Family friendly! Lil’s Kitchen matches the 10-6 open hours with Therapy’s wine shop, The Farmacy. Well-priced wines and eclectic styles will tickle the fancy of anyone’s palate or budget. Therapy’s staff obviously had fun increasing the wine shop merchandise, with all sorts of wine related gifts available onsite and online.
All summer long, Therapy presents free live music, Saturdays 1-4.
Is the Okanagan heat wilting your will power? Therapy has teamed up with Miller Springs to introduce “Hydro Therapy,” their new line of bottled water.
Topping it off, Therapy is celebrating their 10-year anniversary, dubbed “Christmas in July” on July 25th. Join the party 1-4 with free live music, special activities and the release of winemaker Steve Latchford’s 2014 Artist Series (Old Vines Chardonnay)–this year’s vintage pays homage to a lively French-style Chardonnay.
