Okanagan College has a new focus on its education programs this year and it is delicious! New wine and food workshops and classes will educate and entertain every palate, as taught by a wide array of knowledgeable local community instructors.
The Okanagan Wine and Food Intensive, August 1-3, will take students’ wine knowledge to new heights as students will learn about B.C. wine history, regions, grape varieties, wine styles, viticulture and winemaking. This unique course offering will include guided tastings, pairing and cooking in the B.C. Wine Information Society – Sensory Centre, plus daily behind the scenes visits to local vineyards, wineries and producers.

Mini Chef Academy
Do you love trying new things, creating tasty concoctions and playing with your food? At Mini Chef Academy you will do all this and more. Campers will be taken on a culinary adventure blending, mixing, pouring, flipping, and of course eating all the scrumptious, mouth – watering cuisine. Be sure to bring your imagination and appetite to this camp. For students entering grade 2 or 3 in September.
Chef Academy
Embrace your inner chef in this fast paced, high energy cooking adventure. You will discover new and exciting cooking techniques, flavours, and aromas. You may even transform into the next great Camp OC Chef. For students entering grade 4-6 in September.
Cooking & Baking 101
Do you have a passion for cooking and baking? Here is your chance to learn hands on how to prepare delicious meals from scratch. Together with a Red Seal certified chef you will prepare dishes like Southern Chicken Chili with Herb and Cheese Cornbread, Baked Italian Meatballs with Focaccia Bread or Chicken Curry. There will be lots of great desserts as well. There will be different menus and recipes each week so sign up for one week or two. A booklet of completed recipes will be provided for you to take home. For students entering 7-9 in September.
