Tantalus Vineyards is one of the oldest continually producing vineyards in British Columbia. Growing Riesling, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, they come by their connection to the land very honestly. There is an ethos here that speaks about a vibrant connection with the land. The latest measure of this philosophy is their silver certification as a LEED winery, a proud announcement for the team at Tantalus. Tantalus is the first winery in BC to receive this accolade for Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design. The recognition is well deserved, as they have worked hard to create and maintain not just a winery but an entire ecosystem.
Tantalus Vineyards is one of the unique experiences along the Lakeshore Wine Route in East Kelowna. They meld their appreciation for history with an enthusiasm for innovation. The sense of place so prevalent in their wines showcases that respect for Mother Nature’s work on the vine by bringing out the best in the bottle.
