Quinta Ferreira’s portfolio, which is now up to 17 wines, has been going strong all summer. “Summer has been really good,” says Christina Ferreira. “Steady traffic from the time we open to the time we close.” With the wineries total production currently hovering around 5000 cases, there is enough to go around but some wines, including the Malbec and the extremely rare Zinfandel, may not be available until the next vintage is released.
What better place to showcase their wines than at a special 4-course, wine-paired dinner? On October 5th, Quinta Ferreira will again be hosting their annual lamb dinner. “It features Chef Neil Schroeter from Okanagan Street Food,” says Christina Ferreira. Tickets are almost sold out but a few tickets may still be available. Phone the wine shop directly for availability.
The Quinta Ferreira Wine Club includes lots of options for members who don’t want to miss out on a single vintage. Members can choose to have a case delivered every 2, 3, 4 or 6 months and get priority access to new releases, reserve and small lots wines. “You choose what kind of wines you like – all reds, all whites, or mixed – when you sign up and at any time if you want to change it up a bit, just email us an email and your request will be accommodated,” says Maria Ferreira. “Customer satisfaction is our priority.”
All wine club members get a 15% discount on wines purchased in the wine shop, members who receive a case every 2 months also receive free shipping, 2 tickets to a spring lunch during wine festival and 2 tickets to their famous Paella Party held on the 2nd Sunday in July.
10-6 open every day until Oct. 30 – winter by appointment
