Fall Okanagan Wine Festival

 September 28 & 29, 2012 WestJet Wine Tastings Kelowna

Sip! Sample! Spit! Join the WestJet team and explore the Okanagan through this wine tour under one roof. A great event for those trying wines for the first time as well as those who want to expand their wine knowledge. There are over 50 wineries present and over 180 wines to sample. Ticket includes: souvenir wine glass, all your wine tasting, bread and Alexis de Portneuf fine cheeses, food samples, a free taxi ride home and the wonderful fun culture of WestJet airlines. October 3 – The Blind Wine & Cheese Soiree Presented by Valley First – Kelowna

A wild guessing game of wines and cheese await you and your friends. Join Valley First for a fun evening of tasting 12 different Okanagan wines and a special taste test of Okanagan sparkling wines. The evening will be lively and full of hot debate as you try to guess the wines you are tasting. And no wine shall be tried without a great Canadian dairy cheeses provided by the Dairy Farmers of Canada! So to double your fun, you will also be challenged to name the types of cheeses presented. Of course, those who guess the most correct wines and cheese will be crowned Best Blind Taster and feted with great prizes from our hosts. October 5/6 – WEEKEND PASS: Valley First Grand Finale Tastings -Penticton


We know that working your way through all the wineries and all those wines can be a challenge. So this year we give you the chance to spend two nights working your way through the room sampling so many wines by purchasing a weekend pass. Will you try white wines one night and red the next? Or will you mix it up both nights? It’s all up to you and now you have the chance to spend more time sampling and discovering your new favourites. Valley First brings you the oldest and largest event of the fall wine festival. This is a wine tour under one roof!!! Sip! Sample! Spit? Dance? This event is for those who want to explore some of the finest wines that are being produced right here in our back yards.
