There are many reasons to visit Silver Sage this spring. Anna and her team grew quality grapes last year in spite of the lacklustre weather. The 2010 Gewürztraminer is intensely aromatic with tremendous fruit on both the nose and the palate. The 2010 Pinot Blanc is lively and fruity as well. If you like a Rosé, try their Sunset; due out this spring as well. Sunset is a refreshing blush made from a blend of white grapes with flavours of raspberries and cranberries that is, in Proprietor Anna Manola’s very appropriate words, “like the youth of your life”. This wine will be released in April, unless you’re lucky enough to be a member of their Wine Club. If you are, you can get it in February. The Pinot Noir will be released early this year, since it sold out so early last year. This red is rich and dark; soft with a ripe black cherry finish. In addition to the new releases, Silver Sage will be hosting a few events this spring as well.
