As Terrafina re-opens this spring there’ll be exciting changes. “This year as we welcome back our guests for another season, I will be introducing the dynamic new owners of Terrafina!” says April Goldade. Her decision wasn’t made lightly. As a Mom, April recognizes the years before her toddler goes to school are precious, and while to her Terrafina was always her other baby, all the elements fell into place and it was time to let it go, so it, too, can grow.
Proud of how the Tuscan-style restaurant has developed in her five seasons, and the relationship that has cultivated between Terrafina and Hester Creek, April admits “it is such an important and vibrant part of the legacy, along with our full time staff, that finding the right match was imperative.”
Anxious to make the Okanagan their permanent home, and with a culinary and boutique inn background perfect for the transition, Erwin Huber and Cindy Evans are eager to be part of all that is happening in the South. Ever talented Chef Jenna Pillon will continue to hold court in the kitchen sharing her passion for Terrafina.
April will be working with Erwin and Cindy easing in the changeover until March 31st and invites you to visit and welcome them to the South Okanagan.
Mark Sheridan, Hester Creek president, comments, “Working with April and her team over the last five years has been an absolute pleasure and we look forward to welcoming Cindy and Erwin to the Hester Creek family”.
